For two years David Thake has been twisting facts in my regards, even going so far as to question why I was appointed consultant to the Prime Minister on Justice Reform, when it is quite impossible he isn’t aware that I formulated and presented in Parliament the Holistic Reform currently being implemented by the present administration, and also questioning my appointment as Law Commissioner, when it is quite impossible he is not aware I was appointed to practically the same position by Dr Gonzi as President of the Parliamentary Committee for the Re-Codification of Laws.
David Thake could give the impression he is some sort of PN heavyweight, a know it all political veteran, so I though of giving a look at his electoral performance so far. He didn’t manage to get half Graziella Galea’s votes, and Robert Piscopo, who had no radio programme on Radio 101, unlike Thake did, got more than half Thake’s votes. Graziella Galea got almost three times Thake’s votes. Graziella Galea 1546, David Thake 639, Robert Piscopo 327.
Now, after he had his programme axed from radio 101 he has announced he will open his little radio station, possibly competing with radio 101 for listeners and advertising. And what if other PN candidates decide to open their little radio stations? Is that team spirit?
