Survey on the The Times survey : If Labour are heading for a win, do you approve of what Austin Gatt is doing?

It has been clear for the past months if not years that Labour are heading for a win, but who is to blame?

Do you think the Times, for balance’s sake, since they asked a question about JPO and me,  should have asked the following  question or are they the apex of malicious bias? :

Do you approve of what Austin Gatt is doing?

Arriva, BWSC, Fairmount, ARMS, Car Parks, utility bills

You claim to be a champion of Democracy, Debono… now is the time to prove it. According to the official MISCO survey, 47% of the nation don’t want you around, so i guess it’s time to put your money where your mouth is, man up and march up to Castille to hand in your resignation once and for all.
I suspect that this time, the PM will accept it.

Why is it that everyone is missing the wood for teh trees?

If teh government waits for a couple of months , it will be able to buy St Philips for peanuts. As it is, as has been reported elsewhere, other assets belonging to FranK Portelli are to be sold on the subbasta for a fraction of their original worth by court order to make good for his various debts. So why not wait until the property at St Venera ends up that way too?

AS THINGS STAND RIGHT NOW, THE ONLY BENEFICIARY FOR THE DEAL TO SPEND 12 MILLIONS EUROS OF TAX PAYER MONEY IN SUCH A HURRIED WAY IS FRANK PORTELLI AND NO ONE ELSE!

Would the minister be in such a rush to sign the documents to spend those millions WITHOUT FIRST going through all the legal paperwork, if it was his OWN personal money that was going to be spent?

I stopped buying the times long ago, it is obvious that they are part of the pn propoganda machine. But nowadays the newspapes are becoming irrelevant, you do not have to buy the newspapers to read the news, we have the internet and on the internet one can find different news portals, both maltese and foreign, which in my opinion are far better and less biased than the times.

The Times is historically, the way you described it. For the first 4 years it ctiticizies the PN government, hence giving credibility to its supposed ” independent” stance. Then, when push comes to shove – the last year prior to the election – it starts censoring certain letters , writing editorials criticizing the opposition and other subtle tricks.

And do you really think that TOM would ask so? The wouldn’t even dare as they know the answer straight away. In any case TOM has since time immemorial given a helping hand to the PN and will undoubtedly obliviously do again this time round. They have even gagged their posters by limiting the number of any post to 400. Even a space counts as a letter.

Franco, be fair. More people are talking about you and your antics, than about Austin, Dolores, Helen, Joe Cassar, RCC, JPO, etc. Perhaps this is what prompted The Times to ask this question about you. The result reflect what people think about you, not what The Times does.
